Terms and Conditions

In these Terms and Conditions, the following definitions apply:

• "Platform" refers to the UzoTix website, mobile applications, and all related services.
• "User" refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, including Attendees and Organizers.
• "Attendee" refers to any User who purchases tickets through the Platform.
• "Organizer" refers to any User who creates and manages events on the Platform.
• "Event" refers to any gathering, show, conference, or activity listed on the Platform.
• "Ticket" refers to the digital admission pass purchased through the Platform.

To access certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. When registering, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Maintain and promptly update your account information to keep it accurate and complete.
• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

When purchasing tickets through UzoTix, you acknowledge and agree that:

• All ticket sales are final unless otherwise stated by the Event Organizer.
• Ticket prices are set by Event Organizers and may include service fees charged by UzoTix.
• You are responsible for reviewing all event details before completing your purchase.
• Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly permitted by the Event Organizer.
• Each ticket contains a unique QR code that can only be scanned once for entry.
• Duplicate tickets or fraudulent QR codes will be rejected at the venue.

Refund policies are determined by individual Event Organizers. UzoTix facilitates refunds according to the following guidelines:

• If an event is cancelled by the Organizer, Attendees are entitled to a full refund.
• If an event is postponed, tickets remain valid for the new date unless a refund is requested.
• Refund requests must be submitted through the Platform or by contacting our support team.
• Processing times for refunds may vary depending on your payment method and financial institution.
• Service fees may or may not be refundable depending on the circumstances of the refund.

If you use UzoTix as an Event Organizer, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about your events.
• Honor all tickets sold through the Platform.
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to your events.
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage for your events.
• Handle attendee data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
• Promptly communicate any changes or cancellations to ticket holders.
• Pay all applicable fees to UzoTix as outlined in our pricing structure.

UzoTix charges the following fees for its services:

• A platform fee of 5.67% on all paid ticket sales.
• Payment processing fees as charged by our payment partners.
• Free events incur no platform fees.

Organizer payouts are processed after the event concludes, typically within 3 to 5 business days. UzoTix reserves the right to withhold payouts in cases of suspected fraud or violation of these terms.

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

• Creating fraudulent events or selling counterfeit tickets.
• Reselling tickets at inflated prices (scalping) unless permitted by the Organizer.
• Using automated systems to purchase tickets in bulk.
• Attempting to circumvent security measures or access restricted areas of the Platform.
• Uploading malicious code or interfering with the Platform's functionality.
• Impersonating another person or entity.
• Violating any applicable laws or regulations.

All content on the UzoTix Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of UzoTix or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.

Event Organizers retain ownership of their event content but grant UzoTix a license to display and promote their events on the Platform.

UzoTix serves as a platform connecting Event Organizers with Attendees. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• UzoTix is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of events listed on the Platform.
• UzoTix is not liable for any damages arising from your attendance at events.
• UzoTix's total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for tickets in the relevant transaction.
• UzoTix is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

UzoTix reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through email or prominent notices on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
