The origin

A Sunday morning WhatsApp scroll that changed everything.

TikkBay's founder watched yet another event fall apart in a group chat: bank-transfer screenshots as proof of payment, gate lists in spreadsheets, and no way to tell a real ticket from a forwarded one.

He already ran Plusky IT Solutions, the software company behind the platform, building enterprise-grade web applications from offices in the United States and Nigeria. So instead of complaining, he built the ticketing platform those events deserved.

Payments run through PCI-compliant gateways and TikkBay never stores card details. Ticket QR codes are single-use and reissued on transfer, payouts are reconciled to the cent, and every organiser account carries two-factor authentication.

Fourteen years of building software, one platform to show for the weekends.

Paul Anigbo is a Full-Stack Software Engineer, the CEO of Plusky IT Solutions, and the Founder of TikkBay. Originally from Enugu, Nigeria, Paul has spent over 12 years building and consulting on enterprise-grade systems for companies across the United States, spanning full-stack development, NetSuite architecture, and large-scale platform engineering.


It was this depth of experience that made the gap impossible to ignore. After years of engineering solutions at the highest level, Paul saw that event organizers across Africa were stuck with platforms that weren't built for them. High fees. Unreliable payments. No offline capability. Tools that made event management harder than it needed to be. He knew he could build something better.


TikkBay was born from that conviction. Paul brought the same discipline, security standards, and engineering rigour he'd honed building enterprise software into a platform designed from the ground up for African organizers. Smart QR tickets that work without internet. Fraud-proof checkout flows. Flexible automated payouts. Real-time analytics. Every feature exists to eliminate a specific bottleneck that organizers face daily.

Partners earn two ways. Promote any participating event with your tracked affiliate link and earn a commission on every ticket it sells, with per-event performance visible down to the cent. And when you refer an organiser to the platform, you earn on the platform's fee from what they sell. Both ledgers are transparent and paid out with the same discipline as organiser payouts.
